Surgeon General encourages Detroit kids to get vaccinated

U.S. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin will visit Davison Elementary School this afternoon to talk with students about being vaccinated against swine flu (also known as H1N1), reports Detroit News.

Happy's Pizza is partnering with the city to provide pizza parties for each classroom successful in turning in 80 percent of its permission slips for the shots.

Young kids are particularly at risk for getting swine flu - so make sure you sign those permission slips!
