Facilitators needed to help develop education plan
The Skillman Foundation is convening meetings of Detroit’s education, government, community, parent, and philanthropic leaders to focus on key elements of what will become a transformational plan to help ensure that all Detroit children receive the great education they deserve.
Facilitators are needed to help guide table discussion and will be compensated $200 per meeting. Topics will include: creating diverse and engaging academic options; strengthening leadership and teaching effectiveness; fostering transparency, accountability, and integrity; and increasing parent and community participation. Facilitators will need to arrive one hour early for a mini training program. The six meetings are November 30th through December 10th, 6:00-8:00 PM.
